Ovo je Kit Meknali, kralj Menhetna.

Ako za njega do sada niste culi, dobro cete ga upoznati iz kratkog intervjua na Zagatu, onog iz slavljenickog broja NYMag-a, ili iz profila Meknalija kao jednog od jako vaznih Njujorcana na CityFile-u, ali ga verovatno najsazetije opisuje profil na sajtu izdavacke kuce Random House koji kaze:

Listu njegovih restorana treba updateovati Morandijem i godinu dana starom Minettom, a za ovu godinu priprema novo mesto koje ce se baciti u njujorski pizza fajt. Sto se mene tice, rekla bih da su Balthazar, Pastis i Schiller's nekakvo njujorsko restorantsko sveto trojstvo. Ta tri, kao i Pravdu i Morandi, graficki je uoblicio brilijantni njujorski studio MUCCA. Evo male selekcije sa njihovog sajta i nekoliko fotki enterijera iz onog divnog Taschenovog NYC pregleda.










Ja sve to toliko obozavam, i dizajn i njegovu primerenost ovim mestima, duh koji ovi restorani generisu i ton u koji boje Njujork vec godinama... svaki u svom kraju, Balthazar u Sohou, pored MoMA store-a, Schiller's na Lower East Side-u, i Pastis, down on the corner u Meatpacking Districtu... Neprepricljivo. Evo jednog piktoresknog segmenta iz stvarnog zivota. TOLIKO sam srecna sto smo bili ovo doziveli i ponosna sto sam munjevito odreagovala i uspesno zabelezila:

If you did not hear about him so far, you will get to know him well reading the short interview at Zagat, the one from anniversary issue of NYMag, or his profile as one of the very important New Yorkers at CityFile, but probably in shortest described at Random House publishing house profile which says:

The list of his restaurants should be updated with Morandi and a year old Minetta, and for this year, he is preparing a new place which will enter the NYC's pizza fight. As far as I am concerned, I'd say that Balthazar, Pastis and Schiller's are some kind of New York's restaurants holy trinity. Those three, as well as Pravda and Morandi, were graphically shaped by the great MUCCA studio. I adore all of that so much, design as well as its appropriateness for these places, the spirit these restaurants generate and the tone they color New York in for years... each in its own neighborhood, Balthazar in Soho, next to MoMa store, Schiller's in Lower East Side, and Pastis, down on the corner in Meatpacking District...
