Modni termin za danas: RTW = Ready to Wear = Prêt-à-Porter. Odeca iz industrijske proizvodnje, napravljena u standardizovanim velicinama. (more on Wiki)
(before + after)
Jupi!

Let me translate - Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton, commercial collection for winter 2010, just presented in Paris.
Fashion word of the day: RTW = Ready to Wear = Prêt-à-Porter. Clothes from industrial manufacture, made in standardized sizes. Opposite to that BESPOKE – completely custom and taylored to fit perfectly. (more on Wiki).
I'm beginning to understand all this Louis Vuitton thing and all that, not completely, but this for example is just lovely. Maybe because it has this geeky spirit of conservative old Mark Jacobs, before the gym, facials, plucking and all that buff stuff. (before + after)
It's not just about the fact that they shuffled in some real gals among stickish models, ladies with age, curves and all those, in fashion world strongly neglected elements of real life, so all of it got some touchably attractive tone. This collection is shaped for a genuine nice body, is perceived as essentially feminine and is wearable in the real world. The time has come for clothes to stop wearing the models. Yay!
Of course, thanks to the 60ies and Mad Men show.
