Pretty like a Peony

PONELO ME JE, priznajem. Novi parfem sa bozurom. Zove se Pretty.

S ozbirom na joga vizuelni identitet koji sam sebi priredila, sa osnovnim, prolecnim i zlatnim letnjim bozurima, mogla bih da izjavim da je bozur moj omiljeni cvet. Tako pun, ogroman, nezan, premirisan, sa cvrstim loptastim pupoljkom na osnovu kog se ne moze znati koje ce boje biti raspuknuti cvet, pa sa onim spektakularnim topotom teske gomile latica koje se stropostavaju na sto kada otcvetaju svoje. Bozur je cudestan.

Ah da, pa da li ste videli moju profil sliku (taken by Irena Inumaru)? Ja na festivalu bozura u tokijskom Ueno Parku.

Ponelo me je jos nesto. Reklamna kampanja. Nasli su me. Cozy dom prepun bozura, brodski pod, velika stylish bela lajsna koja se visoko penje uza zid. Par toplo belih drvenih komada namestaja, neke knjige kao losos steaks na podu. I tapete. Veliki bozuri koji se rascvetavaju kada se devojka u reklami naparfemise. Za svojim toaletnim stocicem. Eto koliko je meni potrebno.


A sam parfem, danas sam ga testirala. Pa, it's pretty. Fin je, sladak, topao i decentan, bocica vam sjajno opisuje kakav je. Sto se mene tice, treba mu malo bezobrazluka, truncica ludila, quirkiness i hrabrost. Malo stava. Hm, zapravo, onda bi postao Stella in Two Peony. Eh, kakav je to parfem... Sa mogucnoscu doziranja kombinatorikom liquid/solid... Zapravo sve sto hocu da kazem je da, i ako je kampanja carobna, sa tom kombinacijom obicne kao starinske i 3d ilustracije, za mene je bozur vise nego samo pretty.

IT GOT TO ME, I'll admit. There's a new peony perfume and it's called Pretty.

Take my yoga visuals for example. There's that basic, spring and golden summer set. I guess I could say that peonies are my favorite flowers. They're so full, huge, tender, fabulously scented, with that form round bud that doesn't reveal what color is coming, then that incredible rumbling of the whole bunch of heavy petals falling down when the flower is done blooming. Peonies are miraculous. Oh yes you've seen my profile pic already? Taken by Irena Inumaru, it is me on Peony Festival in Tokyo's Ueno Par.

And oh yes, there's something else. That campaign. They really got me. Cozy home full of peonies, wooden floor, big stylish border climbing high to the wall. A few warm white wooden pieces of furniture and some kind of salmon steak looking books on the floor. And those wallpapers. Huge peonies starting to bloom when the girl sprays the perfume sitting by her makeup table. Enough.

And the perfume itself, I tested it today. Well, it's pretty. Nice and sweet, warm and decent. The bottle describes perfectly what's it like. As far as I'm concerned it needs a bit of sassiness, a hint of quirkiness and bravery. Some attitude. Well, I guess it would make him Stella in Two Peony. What a perfume that is... Whit it's liquid/solid combination options... Actually, what I'm trying to say is that, even though the campaign is just adorable with that old botanical like illustration combined with 3d, to me, peony is more than just pretty.

  1. Kako je slatka ova devojka, baš joj je mesto u ovakvoj reklami.
    Ne bih se žalila da dan provedem u ovoj sobi, sva je nežna. I rascvetana. :)
