U ovom tranzicionom periodu, kada nas dvoje zivimo u kolima u zguzvanu odecu navlacimo direktno iz kofera (izvin'te na privatizaciji), kupovanje velikih teskih papirnih magazina bilo bi van pameti. Za sada, nista od temeljnog rezidencijalnog uzivanja. Zato su mi NYMag-ovi listinzi friskih revija sa nedelje mode kao melem na ranu. Za sada samo dve upravo predstavljene kolekcije:
ELEY KISHIMOTO, za koje sam vec uveliko razvila obozavanje, i samo kad vidim njih dvoje zajedno taj osecaj me preplavi i opet nasmeje. Kombinacija Japana i Evrope kao iz snova.
I nesto novo za mene - PETER SOM. Neki young new royalty stil, kao smisljeno za Charlotte Gainsbourg, Chloë Sevigny ili Stingovu cerku Coco Sumner, tako te neke stvarno chic cice/mlade dame.

FASHION is a huge source of inspiration for me. Colors, textures, lenghts, shapes... Just like through food, music, technology, all the current streams are made visible. It is so wonderful to see the masters capturing the feel that's in the air.
In this strange transitional period for us, a time when we pick our clothes directly from the suitcases (sorry for being too personal), so buying a huge paper mag like French Vogue is totally out of the question. For now, one thorough residential paper browse is absolutely out of the question. At the time, NYMag's fashion week listings fit like a glove. At this moment, here are the two shows that just took place:
ELEY KISHIMOTO, that I utterly adore, just seeing those two together on the runway at the end of the show makes me smile with joy. That is just like how their clothes is like - a lovely Japan-Europe combo.
And something brand new for me - PETER SOM. This young new royalty style, like it's meant for Charlotte Gainsbourg, Chloë Sevigny or Sting's daughter Coco Sumner, all those realy chic chicks/young dames.
