VIA DESIGNED.RS saznah za pobednicki rad na konkursu za vizuelni identitet Kvarnera.

Bruketa&Zinic su napravili zanimljivi modularni sistem elemenata da bi u okviru ove turisticke destinacije prikazali njegove raznolikosti. Objedinjujuca dijamantska struktura pretvara se u mnostvo pojedinacnih destinacija u okviru Kvarnera.



Oni su forme dijamantskih struktura svedene jednostavno na mnostvo bojenih trouglova iskoristili za jedan ovako zivopisan mainstream projekat.

Trouglovi su vec neko vreme ultimativna satisfakcija u illustratorskim off krugovima. Ja sam ih prvi put primetila i zavolela 2007 u njujorskoj Giant Robot galeriji, kada sam medju radovima na grupnoj izlozbici ugledala duo Apak.



Cudesno smirujuce i magicno, bas kao najnoviji utisak iz slicnog foldera.

U pitanju je Rafaël Rozendaal. Za njega smo saznali od jedne preslatke besne gliste. NewRafael zivi u Berlinu, a deo njegove biografije glasi ovako:

Povrh svega, na njegovom Tviteru citacete samo sta jede. Jos jedan art project, po svemu sudeci. Bice vam zabavno da otvorite svaki od projekata iz liste na prvoj strani njegovog sajta koji pocinje zanimljivom fotkom iz Venecije, a ja preporucujem nekoliko:

Kada vam treba nesto smirujuceg zen putovanja - from the dark past (sa difuznog svetla klikom aktivirate spot svetlo koje vozite po kristalno stuktuiranom predelu koji se rola)

I tri omiljene graficke zavrzlame koje mogu da potrose citav dan: electric boogie woogie, color flip i, naravno, jello time.

I found about the Kvarner's visual identity competition's winning entry via designed.rs. It is a work by Croatian design agency Bruketa&Zinic. They've created this interesting and modular shape that differs and unifies all the Kvarner's various touristic destinations.

The forms of the diamond structure broken into various triangles alowed to depict all of these, explained with paralleled photos and diamond graphics. This way they introduced the magical triangle form that's been a huge inspiration for a whole bunch of off illustrators to mainsteam.

The first time I saw this triangle flu was when I visited this group ehxibition in NYC's Giant Robot gallery back in 2007. Then and there I first fell in love with Apak duet. Strangely calming and magical, just like my new impression from one similar folder.

It's Rafaël Rozendaal. We've found about him from our dear friend besna Vesna. NewRafael lives in Berlin, and a part of his short biography goes like this:
