Say it in a Letter

Raspevano, cvetno, ljubavno. Ovako kitnjasti verzal se iznenadjujuce citko slaze u reci. Cirilica i latinica ispisuju srpska i hrvatska zenska imena u prezentaciji pisma, a petljica u kojoj dominira srce cini znak "&"!

Jedno ogromno javno i zakasnelo HVALA Milosu Ciricu.

....................................................................................................
BROWSING THROUGH the folders in my head while trying to clarify some things in designing this visual identity that may become some kind of a national symbol, I bumpbed into Milos Ciric's work once again. And since there's not much you'll find about him on the net I'm back to our place called Tipometar. You'll find a whole bunch of his hand lettered type sets there,
giving you an insight into Ciric's consistent opus. They're old school executed, charming in spirit, atypical and carrying this specific allover hieraldic quality.

My absolute favorite is, surprise surprise,
DEVOJACKO PISMO, something like... let's say MISSY TYPE. Flourishing with love. You'll rarely see this kind of initials forming words in such a legible manner. Cyrillic and Latin letters form Serbian and Croat women's names in this type's presentation, and a whirl with a dominant heart forms "&"!

One huge public and a bit late
THANK YOU to Milos Ciric.
