Ranunculus Love

spaghetti.princess kaze: according to the Victorian language of flowers, a bouquet of ranunculus means "I am dazzled by your charms".

........................................................................
Bedazzled by the walk throuh the world wide web's wast fields of ranunculuses, I went out to the streets of Belgrade sighing over a bit poor street flower buying options, at least in comparison to NYC, which sweapt me off my feet flowerwise. And otherwise.

So, I go out and - bum! I bumped straight this little improvised flower corner shop, this guy's selling ranunculuses from a couple of cardboard boxes. In pots, different colors and blooming stages. I'm thinking they must have a common name, the country women surely do not call them ranunculus. He says they're called anemones, ummm, I don't think so.

Ranunkuluses are just miraculous. Somewhere half way between roses and peonies...
